HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

Window painting is considered a temporary art form, but that doesn’t mean it disappears overnight. With proper placement and conditions, designs can last far longer than many expect. Windows exposed to heavy, direct rain will naturally see more wear, while those under an awning or with minimal weather exposure tend to hold up beautifully.

In fact, my longest-standing window painting has been up for over two years and remains in like-new condition today.

While every environment is different, durability is always part of the planning process—so your design looks great for as long as possible.

How do I remove it?

Window paint is easily removed with your window cleaner of choice in a spray bottle (or hot soapy water) and a razor blade. Just spray your cleaner of choice on a section of the window, let sit for 15-30 seconds, and use a sharp razor blade to scrape off*

What Kind of Paint Do you Use on Windows?

Industry standard is to use exterior house paint. I work with Sherwin Williams primarily as they have had the best result for my work. Another benefit of using exterior house paint is that is made to be light-fast, meaning colors won't fade in heavy sunlight.

As a note, the paint does not need to be sealed because the paint is high quality.

* - Any time you use a razor blade, there is a chance you may get micro scratches on the glass. Please make sure to change your razor blade as soon as it feels dull and use lots of cleaner to keep the blade lubricated to prevent scratches.
